It's not about the porn you fool, it's about the hypocrisy. You seem to have a blind spot around it, or, like Alanis Morissette with irony, you don't appear to have a full grasp of the concept.
As much as you to try to frame it otherwise, not one of your hecklers is trash talking you because you're gay. I would also bet that, while they might oppose this war, none of them objects to the fact that you served in the military.
Yes, you're being attacked by liberals and lefties. Yes, they can be mean –– even vicious –– and yes, that is regrettable. But hypocritical? not so much.
This isn't about your personal life Mr.Sanchez. Making a commercial DVD of yourself Knob-Gobbling for dollars is not a private affair.
Your chosen line of defense indicates that you don't completely understand the charges being bought against you.
By being openly gay and serving in the military, you broke the law. The people "attacking" you think it's a stupid law, and, given your history, we can assume that you think it's a stupid law. However, you've decided to publicly support the very group that make it necessary for good soldiers, like yourself, to break that law. This strikes many as real hypocrisy. Are we to understand that your military service means nothing to you? the sacrifice but a small price to pay for a photo-op with Coulter?.
You claim to be "shocked" that liberals would make this all about your private life, even as they profess to not care about such matters. You and your defenders are yelling 'hypocrisy', gleefully believing you've drawn a 'Gottcha!'from the deck. But look at your hand, your trump is a bluff.
All that's happening is that some of your critics are making their point by using your own medicine. MMMMMMmmmm tasty isn't it!
It's the conservative –– not liberal –– agenda at work here. Attacking "deviance", intrusive "moral" policies, opposition to gays in the military and the making of public issue from private affairs is all par for the modern conservative course, Mr.Sanchez. This is the Republican plank 2008.

I'll type slowly so that you can follow along Jaw Breaker. It's not the porn, it's not the homosex, it's not the uniform, and believe it or not, it's not even the conservatism. It's the fact that you've chosen to enthusiastically support people who would arrest pornographers, make homosex a crime and keep people like yourself out of uniform. All for a chance in front of the T.V. cameras.
